When we say a person lives according to their values, we are talking about the way they act – not what they think of themselves or how they want other people to think of them. Our values are not meant to be nouns, but verbs. They are words which describe the way we relate to, and treat, other people… Workplace values, therefore, are words which describe how we relate to, and treat, other people in the workplace.
