Well UQ has certainly stolen the limelight this week, with UQ graduate Dr Geoffrey Rush taking out 2012 Australian of the Year, and lecturer Tim Kastelle being named the fifth best innovation blogger in the world. Tim lectures in Innovation Management at UQ and mentors …a team of six students who research the effects of innovation on the global economy. The insights are shared on his blog, titled the Innovation Leadership Network http://innovationleadershipnetwork.org/blog/. Tim started the blog to take part in practising idea diffusion, or the way in which new ideas spread, which is a critical element of innovation.
