{ Xstrata makes a Big call on Coal }

It seems that Xstrata has arrived with the defibrilator in timely fashion for the Coal industry delivering positive news for an Aussie resource reeling from muted and proven cutbacks.
The particular coal commodity in question is “Thermal Coal” that popular fossil driving the thirst for power production. Speaking at the miner’s half year earnings presentation in London, Xstrata Coal CEO Peter Freyberg stated that “the market probably bottomed about a month ago and there’s been steady improvement over the last four or five weeks”.
The coal industy is starting to resemble an ageing heavyweight boxer thats taken a few many punches recently so this is great news for the resource. Lets hope this champion can climb off the canvas and prove what we all know, theres a few good fights left in you yet!
