24.04.12Here is an interesting article I read this week about Gen Y’s, the article states that retention of Gen Y’s is high on the agenda for CEO’s ahead of growth and cost reduction…This demonstrates the changing landscape in which most organisations find themselves, they are probably dealing with two extreme’s turnover of Gen Y’s and potentially baby boomers who hold high levels of experience getting ready to exist the workforce. There is an additional link here also to a story that talks about the incentive offered by government at the moment to hire a baby boomer. Perhaps some food for thought for HR in terms of workforce and capability planning…
