I read this article this morning that talks about employing of risk takers or “mavericks” as they are referred to. My thoughts are that the work environment needs a certain amount of “mavericks” those who challenge what is the usual and aren’t afraid to test the boundaries… The article defines Mavericks through a 5 factor model of personality and takes in account preferences. I think this is great, businesses that have a mix of all types of individuals, personalities and work styles add that extra dimension….it makes me think, what is possible and what could the result be.
