u&u Recruitment Partners is partnering with an exciting State Government department to recruit a Senior Communications Officer on an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for an experienced communications professional to join a collaborative and growing team. Working across a diverse portfolio, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate communications, supporting regulatory approval processes, preparing executive-level documentation and building strong stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Be Doing
Develop high-quality corporate communications including reports, briefing notes, submissions, correspondence and executive documentation;
Support regulatory approval processes through the preparation, coordination and review of key communications and supporting materials;
Provide strategic communications advice to internal stakeholders and project teams;
Develop clear, concise and audience-focused content across a range of channels and communication formats;
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Support stakeholder engagement activities and communications planning initiatives; and
Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, stakeholder engagement or a related communications role;
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail;
Experience preparing reports, submissions, briefing notes and executive-level correspondence;
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability;
Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging and accessible communications;
Experience within government, regulatory, infrastructure or policy environments will be highly regarded; and
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities.
