About the Role

A great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to manage a key merchant and trade customer portfolio across a defined territory. This role focuses on driving sales, growing market share, and ensuring strong representation of a leading product range within trade and retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across an established merchant customer base;

• Deliver product training, technical support, and new product demonstrations;

• Analyse sales performance and provide regular reporting and insights;

• Support merchandising standards, displays, and promotional activity in-store;

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts;

• Identify business development opportunities and implement sales initiatives;

• Ensure accurate client data, pricing compliance, and effective call cycles; and

• Represent the business at industry events and trade functions.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in account management, trade, or merchant-focused sales;

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills;

• Ability to analyse sales data and produce clear, logical reports;

• Confidence delivering product training and customer presentations;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word essential); and

• Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
