This is a hands-on role offering exposure across end-to-end accounting, reporting and compliance, with the opportunity to contribute to process improvement and team capability.
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare end-of-month and end-of-year reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations;
Calculate and post accruals and provisions;
Prepare internal and external financial reports;
Complete BAS and FBT returns;
Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions and disposals;
Prepare and reconcile lease accounting journals in line with AASB 16;
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis; and
Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
CA or CPA qualified (or currently studying);
Proven experience in a similar accounting role;
Strong working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, GST and FBT;
Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems; and
Ability to work autonomously, manage competing deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
