About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Officer to join a well-established FMCG business in Western Sydney. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership of their ledger, building relationships with customers, and keeping accounts up to date.

You will join a supportive and down-to-earth team where your contribution will be valued. This role offers variety across accounts receivable, collections, reconciliations and customer account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily allocation of payments and receipting of customer accounts;

  • Manage collections and follow up overdue accounts in line with company policies;

  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders;

  • Resolve account queries in a professional and timely manner;

  • Process credit notes and approved adjustments;

  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate customer records;

  • Assist with reporting and support the wider finance team when required; and

  • Manage claims, disputes and account issues through to resolution.

About You

You are a confident and organised Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys working in a busy environment. You take pride in accuracy, communicate well with others, and know how to balance customer service with strong credit control practices. You are someone who can work independently, stay calm under pressure, and bring a positive energy to the team each day.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control;

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills;

  • High attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks;

  • Confident using accounting systems and Excel;

  • Reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude; and

  • Experience within FMCG or high-volume environments highly regarded.

A rostered Saturday across the team is required where you will be required to complete AR allocations from home, with the option of either a day in lieu or paid weekend rates.
