Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong presence across the community and a large operational workforce. They are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and recruitment, creating an opportunity for an enthusiastic Admin & Onboarding Coordinator to join their Recruitment and Training team.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team during a high-growth period, where you’ll play a key role in helping attract and onboard new talent.

About the Role

As the Admin & Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll provide essential administrative and candidate-facing support to the Recruitment and. Training team during a significant recruitment drive. You'll combine high-volume administration with candidate engagement, recruitment events and group facilitation, including facilitating daily Open Days.

This is an initial three-month temporary opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right person. You'll also represent the organisation at career expos and community events, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being out and about, meeting people and taking on a varied role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-volume administrative support to the Recruitment team;

  • Coordinate candidate documentation, follow-ups and recruitment processes;

  • Engage with candidates across various recruitment channels;

  • Proactively connect with the community to attract potential candidates;

  • Facilitate daily Open Days for groups of 25+ people;

  • Present and represent the organisation at career expos and recruitment events;

  • Support candidate onboarding and ensure a positive candidate experience;

  • Assist with new recruitment initiatives and evolving processes;

  • Travel to different depots and external locations as required; and

  • Provide general coordination and administrative support to the wider team.

About You

You'll be someone who:

  • Is exceptionally organised and able to manage competing priorities;

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Is extroverted, confident and comfortable presenting to groups;

  • Enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds;

  • Learns new systems and processes quickly;

  • Is proactive and happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed;

  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;

  • Is resilient, adaptable and comfortable with change;

  • Takes initiative and can work independently;

  • Has a genuine interest in creating a positive candidate experience; and

  • Holds a current driver's licence and is comfortable travelling between location.
