Are you an experienced AI/automation professional who enjoys getting beyond the technology to understand the business problem, identify where AI can add value and then build the solution?

We are recruiting an AI Solutions Engineer for a large Australian professional services organisation that is actively developing its AI capability.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who can combine AI/GenAI, process analysis, automation and technical delivery to solve genuine business problems.

The organisation is looking for someone who can understand how a process works, identify bottlenecks and opportunities, and then turn those opportunities into practical AI-enabled solutions.

About the Role

You will

• Analyse existing business processes, workflows and systems;

• Identify opportunities for AI, automation and process improvement;

• Translate business problems into practical technical solutions;

• Design, build and implement AI/automation solutions;

• Work with senior business and technology stakeholders;

• Assess and improve existing processes, platforms and ways of working;

• Help develop a roadmap for broader AI adoption; and

• Contribute to repeatable approaches for implementing AI across the organisation.

About You

• You will ideally bring

• Hands-on experience delivering AI, GenAI or intelligent automation solutions;

• Strong process analysis and problem-solving capability;

• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions;

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills;

• A technical, engineering or software development background;

• Experience with technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, APIs, Python, workflow automation or cloud AI platforms;

• The ability to understand both the business problem and the technology required to solve it; and

• Experience within engineering, infrastructure, energy, resources or another complex technical environment would be advantageous.
