About the Opportunity

We are seeking an AO3 Business Support Officer / Concierge to join our State Government client in Cannon Hill. This is a part-time opportunity within a small, supportive team. The role is 3 days per week (7.6 hours per day), with a casual hourly rate of $51.12 plus superannuation.
 
Responsibilities

In this front-of-house role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Duties will include managing reception desk operations, coordinating room and desk bookings, and overseeing car park reservations. You will also provide basic technical support and troubleshooting assistance, including the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment for meetings and events.
 
Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support roles;

  • Strong customer service and / or front-of-house experience;

  • Must live within close proximity to Cannon Hill for operational reasons;

  • Ability to manage bookings and competing priorities in a busy environment;

  • Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting and AV setup;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and

  • Flexibility to assist with additional shifts when required.
