About the Role
 
Our State Government client is seeking an AO3 Hearing Support Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. Based in Brisbane CBD, the role will commence 15 December and run through to end of January 2026, with possible extension. Working 38 hours per week, the casual hourly rate is $50.37 plus super.

In this role, you will provide essential support during tribunal and hearing proceedings for a Queensland State Government client, including setting up hearing rooms and AV equipment, coordinating the attendance of parties, managing exhibits, monitoring and recording proceedings and preparing the required documentation.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a front-facing customer service role with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to de-escalate situations professionally;

  • Strong digital literacy and tech confidence (AV, MS Teams, basic troubleshooting);

  • Ability to readily learn new processes and systems;

  • High attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Strong organisational skills;

  • Proven reliability and punctuality; and

  • Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
