About the Opportunity

Our state government client is seeking a capable and motivated AO3 Paralegal Support Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. Based in Brisbane CBD and starting ASAP, the role will be for an initial period of 3 months with strong potential for extension. Working 38 hours per week, the casual hourly rate will be $51.12 plus super.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a government legal environment. You’ll play a key role supporting legal professionals by delivering high-quality paralegal and administrative assistance across a broad range of matters. This includes preparing and managing legal documents and briefs, conducting court and registry searches, assisting with discovery processes and supporting trial preparation.

About You

  • Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role;

  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail;

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;

  • Confident using technology and learning new systems;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Ability to work collaboratively and liaise with a range of stakeholders; and

  • Proactive, adaptable and process-driven approach.
