About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to join our state government client based in Nerang. This is a 12-month temporary assignment (with possible extension), working 38 hours per week and paying approx. $50 per hour + super.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support to Project Managers;

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare documents and reports, and maintain registers and tracking systems;

  • Assist with procurement activities, contract administration tasks and financial approval processes;

  • Ensure all documentation is accurately compiled, recorded and delivered within required timeframes; and

  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, WHS requirements and governance standards.

Key Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a similar project support or administrative role;

  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and information management systems;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Collaborative team approach;

  • Sound problem-solving skills; and

  • Knowledge of procurement or contract administration processes.
