The Opportunity
We are seeking multiple AO4 Case Managers – Workers’ Compensation Tribunal on a contract basis, based in Brisbane CBD.
In this role, you will manage an end-to-end caseload of tribunal referrals, ensuring legislative requirements are met while delivering a high-quality and supportive experience for all stakeholders. This is a fast-paced, process-driven environment suited to candidates with strong case management, coordination, or regulatory experience.
As a Case Manager, you will
Manage a portfolio of tribunal referrals from receipt through to final outcome, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines;
Review and triage referrals, confirming all required documentation and information is complete and accurate;
Coordinate and oversee administrative processes associated with tribunal activities, including maintaining accurate electronic case files;
Liaise with workers, insurers, medical practitioners, and representatives to support the tribunal process and explain legislative requirements;
Conduct quality assurance reviews of tribunal documentation to support robust and consistent decision-making;
Identify risks and escalate or coordinate appropriate actions where required;
Contribute to a positive team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement initiatives; and
Provide a professional and empathetic service when dealing with sensitive or potentially distressing matters.
Required Experience
We are seeking candidates with experience in case management, administration, or coordination within a regulated, legal, or insurance environment. You will bring:
Experience managing competing priorities and high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment;
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures;
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders;
Experience in customer service, complaints handling, or stakeholder liaison;
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work both autonomously and in a team; and
Confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
Highly regarded:
Experience in workers’ compensation, insurance, legal, tribunal, or regulatory environments.
