The Opportunity:
 
As a HR Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting a fast-paced operational workforce by delivering accurate and efficient HR, payroll and rostering services. You’ll ensure employees are supported throughout their lifecycle while contributing to a strong and compliant workforce environment.
 
Key highlights of the role:

  • Deliver responsive HR advice across payroll, rostering and entitlements;

  • Coordinate onboarding and staff movement processes with accuracy;

  • Assist with recruitment and compliance activities;

  • Maintain HR systems and drive process improvements; and

  • Work closely with operational leaders to support service delivery.

Required Experience:
 
To thrive in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in HR administration and confidence supporting a large and dynamic workforce. Your proactive approach and ability to build trusted relationships will enable you to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
 
What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated rostering experience in a fast-paced operational environment;

  • HR administration experience - government experience highly regarded;

  • A solutions-focused mindset and ability to adapt to shifting priorities;

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

  • Strong attention to detail and respect for confidentiality;

  • Ability to interpret policies, awards and employee conditions; and

  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Blue Card.

Role requirements: Australian work rights + screening checks as required.
