The Opportunity
An opportunity exists for an experienced procurement professional to join a collaborative team supporting a diverse portfolio of procurement activities.
Working across construction, maintenance, consultancy and upgrade projects, you will manage procurement processes from planning and market engagement through to evaluation, contract award and ongoing administration. This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with operational stakeholders to deliver procurement outcomes that support critical service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end procurement and tendering activities across multiple project streams;
Preparing, releasing and evaluating tenders in accordance with government procurement frameworks;
Providing procurement advice and promoting procurement best practice across stakeholder groups;
Supporting purchasing activities including raising and amending purchase orders; and
Maintaining procurement documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
About You
You are an organised and proactive procurement professional who enjoys balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Queensland Government procurement experience at AO4 level or above;
Strong working knowledge and practical application of the Queensland Procurement Policy 2026;
Experience managing end-to-end procurement and tendering activities;
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills; and
The ability to manage multiple procurement projects concurrently.
Highly regarded:
Experience within construction, maintenance, infrastructure or facilities-related procurement;
Contract management experience;
Queensland Purchasing, QGCPO, CIPS or similar procurement qualifications.
