Our State Government client is seeking an experienced AO5 Lease Manger (2 positions) to join the team on temporary basis. Based in Brisbane CBD, the role will be for an initial period of 3 months with potential to extend longer term. Working 36.25 hours per week, the casual hourly rate will range from $69.21 to $75.09 plus super.
About the Role:
In this role, you will manage and negotiate a portfolio of government-leased office accommodation, supporting the delivery of leasing projects across the State Government estate. You will provide expert advice on commercial leasing matters, contribute to accommodation strategy and policy development, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and analyse market trends.
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in interpreting, negotiating, and managing commercial leases;
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting;
Ability to provide solutions-focused advice in a complex government environment;
Experience with lease management systems and data analysis for reporting and market insights;
Strong customer focus with the ability to manage competing priorities and negotiate outcomes; and
Relevant qualifications in property, business, or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
