u&u Recruitment Partners is partnering with a large Queensland Government organisation that delivers regulatory, advisory and support services across Queensland. The procurement function supports business areas across the organisation, managing a varied portfolio of procurement and contract activities.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Queensland Government procurement professional looking for a varied role with a strong Learning & Development procurement focus.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will support procurement planning and sourcing activities, develop procurement documentation, assist with evaluations and contract formation and provide advice throughout the procurement process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver procurement activities across sourcing, evaluation and contract management;

  • Support Learning & Development procurement requirements and associated sourcing activities;

  • Develop request for quote, tender, evaluation and contract documentation;

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop appropriate procurement strategies and achieve value for money; and

  • Provide procurement advice while supporting broader operational procurement activities as required.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced procurement professional with recent Queensland Government experience and the ability to confidently work with stakeholders across a range of procurement activities.

You will ideally have:

  • Recent Queensland Government procurement experience;

  • Strong knowledge and practical application of the Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP 2026);

  • Experience developing RFQs, tenders, contracts and associated procurement documentation;

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, written communication and time management skills; and

  • Experience with SAP and/or Learning & Development procurement will be highly regarded.
