Rare opportunity at an ASX listed construction business who have enjoyed significant recent growth

u&u. Recruitment Partners are pleased to be partnering with a leading innovative building and construction ASX business in their search for a new Legal Counsel. Sydney location.

Due to recent strong financial performance, our client is keen to secure a broad generalist commercial lawyer with 4+ years expertise.

As a Legal Counsel reporting to an exceptional General Counsel & Co-Sec, you will have broad responsibility across complex contracts, major transactions, corporate governance, risk and compliance. You will play an integral role supporting the businesses three commercial streams and be expected to work autonomously in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Ideally you have at least 4 years’ PQE and strong training in either construction, property or commercial/corporate from a major firm or similar in-house environment. While construction experience will be welcomed, this is not a pre-requisite. Candidates taking their first step in-house will be well suited.

An eagerness to learn, tackle new challenges and work with various commercial stakeholders will be key in this role.

This is a Sydney based role, with terrific flexibility.
