Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join a well-known Australian SME brand with a strong reputation in the market.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning day-to-day finance operations in a fast-paced business. Based full-time in the city-fringe office, you’ll manage the finance function across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and month-end.
What you’ll do
Manage end-to-end AP, AR and Payroll;
Process supplier invoices, payment runs and account queries;
Raise invoices, allocate receipts and follow up outstanding payments;
Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments;
Support month-end close and maintain accurate financial records;
Assist with BAS, GST and other compliance reporting;
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies; and
Support process improvements and help keep the finance function running smoothly.
What we’re looking for
Experience in a similar Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper or all-round finance role;
Strong hands-on capability across AP, AR, Payroll and month-end;
Xero experience highly desirable;
Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously; and
Confident communicator with a practical, proactive approach.

$80,000 – $100,000 + Super;
