What is the role?
We’re working with a leading professional services firm in Sydney CBD that is seeking an experienced and proactive Business Services professional to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a newly created role and a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll act as the 2IC across the day-to-day operations of the wider office services/mailroom function.
Coordinating document production, printing, collation and finishing;
Managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier requirements;
Supporting office facilities, equipment, meeting rooms and stationery;
Coordinating filing, deliveries, Court and registry runs;
Managing internal requests and prioritising competing demands;
Liaising with suppliers, vendors and external service providers;
Building strong relationships with lawyers, partners and wider business services teams; and
Identifying practical solutions to issues and looking for opportunities to improve processes.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in business services, office services, facilities, mailroom or a similar environment;
Experience coordinating or supervising others would be highly regarded;
Highly adaptable and resilient, with the ability to manage changing priorities;
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach;
Excellent communication and organisational skills;
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines; and
Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions independently.
