The Opportunity:
This is an exciting 6-month fixed-term opportunity with an ASAP start, however our client is happy to wait for the right person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming workplace, building relationships and being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Often described as the “glue” that holds the office together, you will play a key role in shaping the Brisbane office experience and creating a positive, engaging environment for employees, clients and visitors. As the Office Experience Coordinator and Team Assistant, you will be the face of the office and a key point of contact for day-to-day operations.
Required Experience:
Our client is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and welcomes applications from those with experience across corporate, professional services, hospitality, front of house, office management or customer-focused environments.
Previous experience within a corporate or professional services environment will be highly regarded, however the right attitude, personality and approach are equally important. This role is suited to someone who enjoys being around people, takes pride in creating a welcoming workplace and is comfortable being the friendly face employees and visitors see each day.
This is a 5-day-a-week office-based role, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of an office environment and creating connection within the workplace. You will be organised, proactive, professional in your presentation and have a natural ability to make people feel welcome.
Office Experience:
Welcoming clients, visitors and contractors;
Coordinating meeting rooms and ensuring an exceptional guest experience;
Organising office catering, lunches and team events;
Managing office supplies, stock and facilities coordination;
Liaising with suppliers and building management;
Maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment; and
Supporting a positive and connected workplace culture.
Team Assistant Support:
You will also provide executive support to two Principals, including:
Diary management;
Travel coordination;
Expense management; and
General administrative support.
