Our client is building something genuinely ambitious: an integrated international fit-out, manufacturing, procurement and supply-chain group, already operating across China, Australia, Japan and North America, with Singapore now anchoring its move into Southeast Asia. More markets, partnerships and acquisitions are likely to follow. Our client is also preparing for a potential ASX listing.
As the group's businesses (including its FitHub procurement platform and FitOS digital layer) come together, Our client needs someone to help tell that story clearly and consistently, without losing what makes each business distinct. This role marries content with brand and storytelling; and internal communications with increasing reputation and external oversight.
The opportunity
This starts as a hands-on, high-output content role. You'll write, design, produce and publish the content that builds customer confidence and drives business development across LinkedIn, the website and beyond. As our client's businesses integrate and the group moves toward its potential listing, the role is set to grow into broader corporate communications, media engagement and investor-facing support.
It's a dual brief by design. You'll need to enjoy the hands-on delivery now, and want to grow into a more strategic, external-facing communications role as the business evolves.
What you'll do
Own the company's content end to end: social and website copy, company updates, project stories, case studies and staff profiles;
Build and run the content calendar and publishing rhythm across LinkedIn, the website, email/EDM and business-unit channels;
Produce presentations and other corporate materials, plus basic visual and video content using tools like Canva and PowerPoint;
Pull together stories and material from Gibson, the Southeast Asian business, Shanghai and other units, working closely with regional sales teams to keep content tied to commercial priorities;
Coordinate website updates with technical and design partners, and draft CEO and corporate communications under direction;
Report on engagement, enquiries and commercial response; and
Grow into media relationships, support for listing-related materials, and broader message consistency across the group as the company's needs evolve (working alongside the CEO, Board and specialist advisers, not carrying that responsibility alone).
About you
A strong, confident writer with excellent English and a good ear for tone, across social, corporate and executive contexts;
Visually literate and comfortable publishing your own work, from design tools through to basic video – ideally with a portfolio of examples you can share;
Current on LinkedIn and the channels that matter for a B2B audience;
Curious about manufacturing, fit-out, supply chain and project delivery, even if you haven't worked in it before;
Just as confident with senior stakeholders as you are rolling your sleeves up and doing the work yourself;
Highly organised and responsive, comfortable juggling input from multiple business units and time zones; and
Commercially aware, low-ego and energised by a fast-moving, still-evolving business.
Why this role
This is a genuine chance to build the communications foundations of a growing business from the ground up and then grow with it: from content and storytelling now, into corporate, media and investor communications as our client scales toward a public listing.
