Love creating content that actually gets people to stop scrolling?

We are partnering with a purpose led national organisation that is building out its marketing team and looking for a Content Specialist to join the function.

As part of this growth, they are looking for a Content Specialist to take ownership of creating engaging, social first content that promotes career pathways across Australia’s construction, property and water industries.

From filming on worksites and interviewing people across the country to creating Reels, TikToks and campaign content, you'll have the opportunity to tell real stories and bring plenty of creative ideas to the table.

The Role

  • Film, produce and edit video and static content across Meta, TikTok and YouTube;

  • Develop social first concepts designed to engage and grow audiences;

  • Travel across Australia to capture real people, careers and worksite stories;

  • Create short form video, interviews, explainers and behind the scenes content;

  • Plan content around campaigns, audiences, trends and emerging conversations;

  • Write scripts, social copy, website content, case studies and campaign content;

  • Manage content calendars and contribute ideas for new content series;

  • Use engagement data to understand what's working and improve future content; and

  • Work closely with digital, marketing, research and industry teams.

About You

You're a confident content creator who can take an idea from concept through to filming, editing and publishing.

You'll bring:

  • Strong video and content production skills;

  • Experience creating content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other digital channels;

  • A strong understanding of organic social growth, trends and audience engagement;

  • Confidence interviewing people and capturing authentic stories;

  • Strong writing, scripting and editing skills;

  • A creative eye and the ability to adapt content for different audiences;

  • Confidence working autonomously and owning your content from start to finish; and

  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally.

You'll also need to be comfortable appearing on camera when required and working across a range of environments, from the office to events and active worksites.

What's on Offer?

  • Join a growing marketing team in a newly created role;

  • Genuine creative ownership and autonomy;

  • Travel across Australia capturing real stories and experiences;

  • Create content that supports Australia's future workforce;

  • Hybrid working;

  • Salary packaging benefits; and

  • Additional leave over the Christmas and New Year period.

If you're passionate about social content, storytelling and creating work that has a real purpose behind it, apply now!
