**Contracts Administrator
**
u&u. Recruitment Partners are working with a client seeking a motivated and detail-focused Contracts Administrator to support major commercial, data centre, health and infrastructure projects across Melbourne.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers and commercial teams to support project delivery. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to contract administration, financial tracking, procurement and document control on large-scale electrical installation and construction projects.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement, supplier/subcontractor engagement and onboarding;

  • Prepare subcontract documents, scopes, purchase orders and contract recommendations;

  • Support administration of subcontracts, variations, EOTs and progress claims;

  • Maintain cost tracking, budgets, forecasts and financial reports;

  • Review subcontractor claims, invoices and project documentation;

  • Ensure accurate document control using systems such as Aconex, Procore or Autodesk; and

  • Manage registers for contracts, correspondence and commercial documentation.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in contract or project administration;

  • Background in construction or electrical contracting (highly regarded);

  • Understanding of contracts, procurement, variations and progress claims;

  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness;

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); and

  • Experience with Aconex, Procore or Autodesk is advantageous.

  • Confident engaging with suppliers, subcontractors, engineers and site teams.
