Salary: $130,674.12 - $150,275.23 per annum + 12% superannuation + leaseback vehicle/sustainability allowance
The Opportunity
u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to partner with Randwick City Council to appoint a Coordinator Information Systems.
Randwick City Council is a progressive organisation servicing one of Sydney’s most vibrant coastal communities. The organisation is focused on innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement in delivering essential community services.
This role sits within the Information Management & Technology department and leads the Information Systems function. You will be responsible for uplifting corporate systems, strengthening business partnerships across Council, and ensuring systems remain effective, supported and continuously improving.
You will lead a small team while working closely with directorates to align technology solutions with business needs and organisational priorities.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will lead the delivery, support and continuous improvement of Council’s corporate and line-of-business systems position description .
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the business partnership model across Council to deliver effective digital and systems solutions;
Managing the lifecycle of corporate systems including upgrades, enhancements and retirement;
Ensuring systems remain relevant, reliable and aligned to organisational needs;
Leading and mentoring the Information Systems team;
Driving process improvement and system optimisation initiatives;
Supporting governance, compliance and procurement activities; and
Maintaining accurate system documentation and reporting.
About You
You are an experienced information systems leader with strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership capability.
You will bring:
Experience managing corporate systems across their lifecycle;
Strong ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders;
Experience leading or mentoring technical or systems teams;
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
Understanding of IT governance, service management and continuous improvement; and
Experience with systems such as TechnologyOne, Pathway, TRIM or Dayforce is highly regarded.
