An exceptional opportunity exists for an established Corporate Partner (or senior practitioner on the cusp of Partnership) to join the Melbourne office of a leading international law firm.

Our client is a globally recognised firm with a premium brand, deep sector capability and a fully integrated international platform. With continued growth in the Australian market, the firm is seeking to appoint a Corporate Partner as part of its strategic expansion plans.

The Role

You will play a key role in growing the firm’s Corporate capability in Melbourne, with a particular focus on:

• M&A (private and public);

• Corporate advisory;

• Commercial transactions;

• Joint ventures and restructures; and

• Cross-border transactions.

There is flexibility around sector focus, with particular interest in practitioners with strong mid-market or upper mid-market exposure.

About You

To be considered, you will:

• Be at Partner level (or Special Counsel with a clear pathway and portable client following);

• Have a minimum $1 million transportable domestic practice;

• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and client relationship capability; and

• Be entrepreneurial and motivated to grow within a global platform.
