About the Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Credit Manager, you will lead and coach a team of 10+ Credit Officers, overseeing daily credit operations and workflow management. You’ll be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, resolving escalated issues, conducting monthly debtor ledger and credit limit reviews, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Credit Officers and Support staff;
Manage daily credit operations and workflow effectively;
Conduct monthly debtor ledger and credit limit reviews;
Resolve escalated queries within delegation;
Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives;
Prepare ad hoc reports for the Commercial Credit Manager;
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and
Foster a collaborative, customer-first team culture.
Skills & Experience:
3–5+ years of credit leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities;
Intermediate MS Excel and Office skills; and
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
