Own the end-to-end order and delivery experience, from processing and managing customer orders through to coordinating with the local Third-Party Logistics partner to ensure products are dispatched accurately and delivered on time. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients across Australia, while coordinating logistics activities and proactively managing the order process to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
 
Customer Service & Logistics Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customers via phone and email;

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships;

  • Process product/parts orders accurately and within required time-frames;

  • Partner with Sales to action enquiries and provide pricing and stock availability;

  • Participate in training across product knowledge, customer complaints, phone techniques and other areas as directed;

  • Report product, logistics and customer service trends/issues to the Customer Service Manager;

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with the local 3PL warehouse;

  • Track orders through to delivery, managing missed scans, damages and delays;

  • Validate and reconcile 3PL inventory, receipts, dispatches and KPI reports;

  • Raise 3PL claims for service issues, stock discrepancies and warehouse-related product damage;

  • Work with Supply Chain on delivery issues and Demand Planning on stock shortages;

  • Investigate SAP vs 3PL stock discrepancies, particularly for high-value and frequently used items;

  • Identify and support process improvements across order flow, communication and 3PL operations;

  • Support cross-functional projects, including new 3PLs, customers and products;

  • Participate in cross-functional teams and inter-departmental assignments as required; and

  • Comply with all company policies and legislative requirements, including OH&S, financial and employment legislation.

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • 3-5 years of customer service or logistics experience across manufacturing or engineering;

  • Experience with SAP desirable;

  • Strong organisational and time management skills;

  • High attention to detail with excellent accuracy;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines;

  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities; and

  • Confidence working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
