Are you an NV1-cleared Data Engineer looking to build secure, enterprise-scale data solutions within a highly complex technology environment?
 
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a critical classified environments program responsible for establishing secure capabilities that support the delivery of services requiring elevated security and compliance standards.
 
This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing, building and optimising the data pipelines and integration capabilities that underpin a modern, secure technology environment. Working across a diverse application landscape, you'll help establish the data engineering foundations required to support migration, integration, reporting and future platform growth.
 
This initial 6-month contract offers strong extension potential and the opportunity to contribute to a highly visible and business-critical program.
 
About the Role:

Working alongside project, architecture and engineering teams, you will design and deliver scalable data integration solutions across a complex enterprise environment.
 
You will:

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes;

• Build data integration solutions across multiple systems and security boundaries;

• Develop data models, transformation logic and reusable integration frameworks;

• Support data migration, validation and reconciliation activities;

• Optimise data pipelines for performance, scalability and reliability;

• Ensure data quality, integrity and governance through monitoring and validation;

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions; and

• Produce and maintain documentation covering data flows, pipelines and integrations.

About You:

You are a hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building robust data solutions within secure, enterprise-scale environments.
 
You'll bring:

• Active NV1 Security Clearance (essential);

• Strong experience designing and developing enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions;

• Experience with data integration, transformation and migration across multiple systems;

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure or AWS;

• Experience with data modelling, data quality and governance practices;

• Ability to work across complex technical environments with evolving requirements;

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with both technical and business teams; and

• Experience within highly regulated or security-sensitive environments highly regarded.
