About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to manage end-to-end data migration activities for a major ERP transformation from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
You will lead the extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) and validation of business data while driving data quality improvements and master data clean-up to ensure a successful ERP go-live. The role will also support data migration and clean-up for any impacted ancillary systems identified during the program.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the data migration strategy and plan aligned to program timelines;
Lead data extraction, mapping, transformation, and loading from AX to D365 F&O;
Define and enforce data quality standards and validation processes;
Coordinate with business SMEs to define data mapping across finance, supply chain, and warehouse functions;
Lead data cleansing and master data clean-up (customers, vendors, products, chart of accounts, warehouse data);
Manage migration testing cycles, including mock migrations, reconciliation, and defect resolution; and
Monitor migration risks, issues, and readiness, providing status updates to program leadership.
Requirements Essential
Proven experience leading data migration in ERP transformation programs;
Experience with Dynamics AX to D365 Finance & Operations migrations;
Strong understanding of AX and D365 F&O data structures and entities;
Experience with data quality assessment, cleansing, and master data management;
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; and
Experience using Azure DevOps for migration activities.
Desirable
Experience in distribution, supply chain, or logistics environments.
