Digital Acquisition Manager | Sydney | Hybrid
We're partnering with a leading health and wellness consumer goods business to find a Digital Acquisition Manager to help accelerate the next phase of its eCommerce growth.
This is a performance-led role focused on one thing: acquiring new customers and driving profitable eCommerce growth.
You'll take ownership of digital acquisition across a portfolio of consumer brands, managing significant paid media investment and working closely with specialist agency partners across Meta, Google and emerging channels.
It's a great opportunity for someone who understands the commercial reality of DTC eCommerce and wants more ownership over where investment goes, what gets tested and how acquisition performance improves.
The opportunity
Sitting within the digital and eCommerce team, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering the acquisition plan across paid and organic channels.
You'll work closely with agency partners rather than sitting in-platform all day, so you'll need the technical knowledge to challenge recommendations, interrogate performance and make confident decisions around budget and optimisation.
There's also plenty of scope to experiment. The business wants someone curious about new platforms, creative approaches and changing consumer behaviour - someone who'll test ideas, learn quickly and put more behind what works.
What you'll be doing
Owning digital acquisition strategy and execution across DTC eCommerce;
Managing agency partners across Meta, Google, TikTok and other paid channels;
Managing budgets and shifting investment based on performance and commercial priorities;
Driving new customer growth while improving ROAS, CPA and digital revenue;
Developing testing plans across creative, audiences, platforms and media;
Working closely with eCommerce teams to connect acquisition with the on-site customer journey;
Improving tracking, attribution and performance reporting across channels; and
Supporting eCommerce growth across Australia and international markets.
About you
You'll bring around 3–5 years' experience in performance marketing or digital acquisition, with strong hands-on knowledge of Meta and Google.
The key requirement is your understanding of pure-play DTC eCommerce. You'll either have worked directly within a DTC Shopify business or managed acquisition for DTC Shopify clients and understand how paid media connects to conversion, revenue and profitable customer growth.
Shopify experience is specifically relevant to the brief.
You'll be comfortable managing agencies and know enough about performance media to ask the right questions rather than simply accepting what's presented back to you.
You'll also enjoy an environment where priorities move quickly and there's freedom to test, learn and adjust rather than follow a rigid playbook.
Why this role?
You'll join a growing eCommerce function within an established consumer business that's investing in digital growth.
There's meaningful budget to work with, strong agency support and enough freedom to make decisions based on performance. You'll get exposure beyond campaign management too, developing your understanding of the wider DTC customer journey and the commercial levers behind eCommerce growth.
For someone coming from a pure-play DTC brand or an agency working closely with DTC clients, it's a strong opportunity to take that experience into a broader in-house role.
