About the Company:
u&u Recruitment Partners is proud to partner with a fast paced, full-service media agency in Brisbane who are on the lookout for a Digital Manager. This is a great next step for someone with strong digital trading experience who's ready to move into a more strategic, client facing role without stepping away from the platforms altogether.
You'll sit just below Account Director level and bring strong digital expertise into the pod, supporting strategy, WIPs and client relationships while mentoring a Digital Trading Specialist. You'll manage a mix of smaller and larger clients, act as an escalation point for trading and partner closely with the Account Director on the bigger accounts, strategy decks and proposals.
No two days look the same in this role. Some days you might spend three hours fully focused on one client and one project and the next you could be juggling nine different tasks across multiple accounts. If you like variety and enjoy switching between strategic thinking and hands on platform work, you'll feel right at home here.
What your week looks like:
Building out strategy and reviewing performance on existing campaigns;
Attending client WIPs and staying on top of communications;
Mentoring and supporting your Digital Trading Specialist; and
Getting hands on with campaign builds, particularly toward the end of the week.
What you'll bring:
3 to 5 years' experience in an advertising or media agency (indie agency background works particularly well here), with solid experience trading media across Google Ads and Meta Ads;
Programmatic trading experience across DV360 and Campaign Manager 360, plus experience using ad serving software for trafficking ads and basic reporting;
Confidence working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and a solid handle on Microsoft Office;
A basic understanding of other digital marketing channels such as SEO, email marketing and content marketing;
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organisation, with a self-motivated, customer focused and team-oriented approach;
The confidence to get client facing when it comes to strategy decks and proposals; and
Above the line or Nielsen experience is a bonus but not essential.
