As the business continues to expand, an opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Distributor & Key Account Manager to drive growth across an established portfolio while identifying new market opportunities.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales & Operations Manager, this role combines key account management, distributor leadership and new business development.

You will be responsible for growing existing customer relationships, managing channel partners and distributors, and building a sustainable pipeline of new opportunities across designated markets.

This is a highly visible commercial role that requires strong relationship management, strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, operations, technical and customer service teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing strategic key account relationships;

  • Developing and executing account growth plans;

  • Leading distributor, reseller and channel partner engagement;

  • Driving new business acquisition across targeted markets;

  • Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline;

  • Supporting contract negotiations and commercial agreements;

  • Partnering closely with technical and operational teams to deliver customer outcomes;

  • Managing customer onboarding and transition processes; and

  • Ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting and sales planning.

This role offers a blend of relationship management and commercial hunting, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both growing existing business and creating new opportunities.

About You

You are a commercially driven sales professional who thrives building long-term partnerships and uncovering growth opportunities.

You understand how to manage complex stakeholder groups, influence decision-makers and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Most importantly, you bring a customer-first mindset, strong commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.

Backgrounds that could align well include:

  • B2B sales and account management;

  • Distributor or channel partner management;

  • Equipment, industrial or technical sales;

  • Foodservice, hospitality or service-based industries;

  • Commercial business development; and

  • Indirect sales or route-to-market environments.

You'll also bring:

  • A proven track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business;

  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management capability;

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;

  • High level of organisation and accountability;

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen;

  • The ability to influence both internally and externally; and

  • Experience working cross-functionally to deliver customer outcomes.
