The Opportunity
This is a true new business role where you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with referral partners and commercial clients, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to signed agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through proactive outbound activity and networking;
Build and manage relationships with commercial partners and referral channels;
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM;
Qualify opportunities and manage prospects through the full sales process;
Prepare proposals and commercially negotiate opportunities;
Work closely with internal pricing, operations and service teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes; and
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
About You
Ideally you'll have
Minimum two years' experience in B2B sales or business development;
A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets;
Strong prospecting and pipeline management skills;
Excellent communication and relationship-building ability;
Confidence presenting solutions and negotiating commercial outcomes;
Experience using a CRM (HubSpot or similar is advantageous); and
Experience within energy, utilities, professional services or another solution-selling environment is highly regarded but not essential.
