Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join the team on a long-term temporary basis. Based in Buderim, the role will be initially offered for 12 months with the potential to extend up to 2 years. Working 38 hours per week, the casual hourly rate will be between $68 to $74 per hour plus superannuation.
This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing survey team supporting major civil infrastructure projects across the Sunshine Coast region. It is well suited to a surveyor looking to step into complex, large-scale project work with strong technical support and access to modern surveying tools and technologies.
Key Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, or equivalent qualification acceptable for registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ);
Solid post-graduate experience in engineering surveying, including end-to-end delivery across design, construction and / or civil infrastructure projects;
Demonstrated experience with modern surveying technologies including GNSS, total stations, laser scanning and drone / UAV survey methods, as well as digital data capture workflows;
Strong capability in producing accurate set-out, field data capture and as-constructed survey deliverables for infrastructure projects; and
Ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to coordination, delivery outcomes and technical problem-solving.
