u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to partner with Sunshine Coast Council to appoint a Centre of Excellence Lead.
The EPMO plays a central role in enabling effective delivery. This position focuses on building enterprise capability, ensuring consistent frameworks, governance and practices underpin how Council delivers its strategic initiatives.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of EPMO, you will lead the design and continuous improvement of Council’s enterprise delivery capability.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning and governing enterprise portfolio, program and project management frameworks;
Driving capability uplift through structured training, coaching and development pathways;
Leading continuous improvement of delivery practices, tools and systems (including PMIS);
Establishing communities of practice to embed consistency and standards;
Providing expert advice to executives on delivery capability, governance and risk; and
Translating strategy into practical, scalable delivery models.
About You
You are an experienced PMO or delivery capability leader with a track record of operating at enterprise level.
You will bring:
Experience leading an EPMO Centre of Excellence or similar capability function;
Demonstrated experience building and embedding enterprise delivery frameworks;
Strong understanding of portfolio, program and project governance (P3O maturity);
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of delivery standards; and
Experience operating in large, complex or regulated environments.
