Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) is seeking an Event and Experience Services Advisor to join its high-performing Events & Experiences team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering immersive, high-impact experiences that connect industry, visitors, and community while helping position Brisbane as a vibrant, world-class events destination.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Event and Experience Services, you’ll shape and deliver standout event experiences across BEDA’s Events and Destination portfolios.

What You'll Do

• Lead and deliver client site inspections, familiarisation programs, and event experiences;

• Design engaging itineraries that showcase Brisbane as a world-class destination;

• Coordinate logistics, travel, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless delivery;

• Build strong partnerships across tourism, events, hospitality, and industry; and

• Represent BEDA at industry events, site inspections, and key stakeholder engagements.

What You'll Bring

• Significant experience in project management within events, destination management, or tourism;

• Proven success (5+ years) in partnership or account management, stakeholder engagement, and client service;

• Strong relationship builder and collaborator with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders;

• A creative and curious mindset, comfortable generating ideas, solving problems, and thinking strategically;

• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt and step into others’ shoes; and

• Knowledge and a passion for Brisbane’s tourism, events, and industry landscape (or the drive to quickly develop it).
