The Role
As the Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Brisbane office.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and developing a small team (2 direct reports);
Managing office leases and acting as the key liaison with landlords;
Overseeing operating budgets, cost allocation and forecasting;
Leading facilities management, including service contracts, preventative and reactive maintenance;
Ensuring contractor compliance, onboarding, and screening;
Overseeing the full asset lifecycle, ensuring everything is safe, operational, and compliant; and
Engaging with a wide range of internal stakeholders and providing updates on upcoming activities, initiatives, and office needs.
This role requires strong coordination, sound judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in a large, fast-paced organisation undergoing change.
About You
To be successful, you will have
Demonstrated experience in a similar Office Manager, Workplace Manager or Facilities-focused role;
Experience managing staff and fostering a high-performance culture;
Strong budget management and cost allocation skills;
Confident stakeholder engagement at all levels, including senior leadership;
Solid understanding of MS Office and general business systems;
A polished and professional communication style—both written and verbal;
Experience across facilities, operations, and ideally commercial leasing; and
The ability to adapt to change, solve problems proactively, and work collaboratively in a large corporate environment.
