Are you an HR professional open to contract work? We’re recruiting for immediate and upcoming opportunities across Brisbane and surrounding regions.

We’re keen to connect with HR Generalists at all levels, from proactive HR Coordinators and Officers through to HR Advisors and Junior HR Business Partners for immediate and upcoming contract opportunities across a range of organisations and industries.

Whether your strengths lie in employee lifecycle support, providing practical HR advice, interpreting Awards and enterprise agreements, managing contracts and variations, or supporting employee relations matters, we’d love to understand your experience and what you’re looking for next.

About the opportunities

We recruit for a range of hands-on HR contract roles, including:

  • HR Advisors and HR Generalists;

  • HR Coordinators and HR Officers;

  • HR Business Partners;

  • HR Systems Operations and HRIS Administration; and

  • HR project and process improvement opportunities.

Depending on the role, you could be involved in:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees;

  • Interpreting Awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions;

  • Preparing employment contracts, variations and other employee documentation;

  • Supporting employee relations matters, performance management and conduct issues;

  • Coordinating onboarding, probation reviews, transfers and offboarding;

  • Maintaining employee records, HR systems and compliance documentation; and

  • Supporting policy implementation, HR projects and process improvements.

About you

We know contract work can look different for everyone. You might be an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next contract, a proactive HR Coordinator or Officer ready to broaden your experience, or a junior HR Business Partner keen to build on your generalist foundations.

You’ll ideally bring experience across some of the employee lifecycle, a sound understanding of HR processes and employment obligations, and the confidence to ask questions, find solutions and get things done. We’re happy to consider different levels of experience depending on the requirements of each assignment.

Why consider contract work?

Contracting can be a great way to broaden your experience, build new skills and find an opportunity that suits your current circumstances.

Depending on the assignment, you could:

  • Gain exposure to different organisations, industries and workplace environments;

  • Build your experience across employee relations, compliance and generalist HR;

  • Step into a new environment and make an immediate contribution;

  • Take on short-term cover, project work or longer-term assignments;

  • Explore a pathway into a permanent opportunity; and

  • Access roles that may not be widely advertised.

Contract roles can move quickly, so it helps to understand your experience, availability and what you’d like to do next.

You might be available now, approaching the end of a current contract or simply open to hearing about what’s coming up.

If you’d consider contract work, send through your CV and let us know what you’re looking for. We’d love to have a conversation and understand where we may be able to help.
