Finance Business Partner | 3+ month Contract | Drive commercial insight, performance and decision-making

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for a contract opportunity with a purpose-driven organisation where finance plays a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Reporting to the General Manager – Finance, you will partner closely with senior leaders and business units to provide meaningful financial insight, challenge thinking and drive accountability across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business performance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partner with leaders to drive financial performance and accountability;

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities;

• Provide insightful financial analysis, commentary and commercial advice;

• Support business cases, growth opportunities and strategic planning;

• Develop and improve costing models and expense allocation processes;

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting;

• Support project costing, procurement analysis and FTE reporting;

• Assist with month-end, audit and other financial management activities; and

• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and financial projects as required.

What you’ll bring:

• CA/CPA qualification with relevant tertiary qualifications;

• Proven Finance Business Partnering experience;

• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability;

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;

• Commercial, analytical and solutions-focused mindset;

• Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights;

• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems;

• Experience in health, education or not-for-profit environments highly regarded; and

• Exposure to Dynamics 365, Business Central or Workday Adaptive Planning advantageous.
