About the Role:
An ASX-listed specialist bank is searching for a Finance Manager – Transformation to play a key role in strengthening their financial control environment while driving ongoing systems and process transformation.
This organisation is a growing, digitally focused, small-to-medium sized bank with a reputation for being agile, customer-centric and values-led.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be combining BAU financial control with transformation and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure GL postings, hierarchies and processes support timely and accurate balance sheet, P&L and cashflow reporting;
Support monthly close processes, including analysis of product-level financial performance;
Ensure accuracy of legal entity trial balances and support audit queries and statutory reporting;
Drive finance systems enhancement projects, improving speed and quality of month-end and reporting cycles;
Leverage Workday experience to optimise GL design, integrations and process automation;
Support ongoing corporate simplification and finance transformation initiatives;
Build strong relationships across finance, risk, treasury and operational teams;
Provide technical accounting insights and engage with the group accounting policy function; and
Serve as a trusted partner across the business in delivering strategic finance priorities.
What We’re Looking For:
CA/CPA Qualification;
5+ years’ experience in Banking or Financial Services;
Strong background in financial control, statutory reporting, audit or regulatory reporting; and
Experience with Workday or similar cloud-based GL/ERP systems highly advantageous.
