u&u Partners are delighted to be partnering with an established Australian organisation in their search for an experienced Finance Manager with a focus on treasury to take ownership of its treasury function within a complex, multi-entity operating environment.
This is a broad, hands-on position combining treasury, banking administration, cash flow and liquidity management, capital and restricted-fund governance, financial control and process improvement. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will have significant ownership of the organisation’s banking infrastructure and treasury operations, while helping strengthen the controls, systems and processes that support a growing finance function.
The opportunity will suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys combining strong technical capability with operational ownership and is comfortable working across multiple entities, stakeholders and locations.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to senior finance leadership, your responsibilities will include:
Take ownership of treasury operations across a multi-entity structure, including banking administration, liquidity management and cash positioning;
Manage banking platforms, accounts, user access, approval workflows, authorities and signatory arrangements;
Prepare and maintain a rolling 12-week cash flow forecast, proactively identifying funding requirements, liquidity risks and surplus cash positions;
Ensure treasury activities operate within appropriate delegations, policies, regulatory requirements and financial controls;
Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready treasury documentation and procedures; and
Provide accurate treasury and cash reporting to support management decision-making.
About you
You will be an experienced finance or treasury professional with strong technical accounting fundamentals and a highly organised, hands-on approach.
Ideally, you will bring
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline;
CA or CPA qualification;
Approximately 8+ years’ experience across finance, accounting or treasury;
Demonstrated experience in cash management, treasury operations and banking administration;
Hands-on experience managing online banking platforms, including permissions, authorities, workflows and account structures;
Exposure to complex multi-entity and multi-account environments; and
Strong cash flow forecasting, reconciliation and liquidity management capability.
This role offers considerably more scope than a traditional treasury position. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of a critical finance stream, influence how treasury processes and controls operate, and work closely with senior finance leadership within a sophisticated, multi-entity organisation.
For an experienced Finance Manager, Treasury Manager or senior finance professional looking for a role combining treasury, cash management, banking, governance and finance transformation, this represents an opportunity to make a tangible impact while further developing your career within a complex environment.
