About the Role

This newly developed hotel presents a chance to join a progressive hospitality team and play a key role in shaping its ongoing success.

As part of a well-established international hotel group, the property continues to experience strong growth and is now seeking a seasoned finance professional to support its ongoing commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the General Manager, you will lead the Finance function, manage a small team of 2, and act as a strategic business partner to the Hotel Leadership Team.

  • Lead and manage the Finance Department, ensuring excellence across all financial operations;

  • Produce timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;

  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Payroll functions;

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning;

  • Manage statutory requirements including BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT, WorkCover, and annual audits;

  • Provide strategic financial advice to the General Manager, Owners, and Department Heads;

  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external bodies such as auditors, banks, suppliers, and government agencies; and

  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • CA/CPA Qualification;

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Hotels / Hospitality sector;

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills; and

  • A strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and an eye for detail.
