Your new Company:
Your new organisation is a leader in industrial maintenance solutions and pump technology. Along with specialising in pump technology they also adhere to industrial abrasive blasting, and supply metal, concrete and repair protection products.

Your new role:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your new role will see you being both workshop and site based. You will work Monday to Friday commencing work at 6am with a convenience finish of 2.06pm daily. Whilst most work is workshop based, your ability to adhere to interstate requirements three times a year, and regional work where needed for contracts across paper mills, ports and other industrial sites across Victoria.
Your new role will involve; operating center lathes, milling & drilling machines, surface and bench grinders, general hand tools (electric & pneumatic), dismantle pumps and equipment, rebuilding components and applying metal coating, maintaining inhouse equipment, and relevant reporting.
What you need to succeed:
Fitter & turner with manual lathe machining capabilities, portraying solid mechanical aptitude;
Proven background in an industrial Fitter role, pump experience highly advantageous;
Ability to work autonomously and confident customer facing skills (for some site based pump work);
Be open to site and workshop based work, working on pumps. Ability to travel interstate x3 times a year; and
Happy to work onsite where the work can be more hand on / exposed to natural elements, or incremental weather.
**Please note consistent mandatory drug and alcohol tests will be conducted, as well as a national police check.
