Your new Company:

Your new organisation is a leader in industrial maintenance solutions and pump technology. Your new role:

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your new role will see you being both workshop and site based. You will work Monday to Friday commencing work at 6am with a convenience finish of 2.06pm daily. Whilst most work is workshop based, your ability to adhere to interstate requirements three times a year, and regional work where needed for contracts across paper mills, ports and other industrial sites across Victoria.

Your new role will involve; operating center lathes, milling & drilling machines, surface and bench grinders, general hand tools (electric & pneumatic), dismantle pumps and equipment, rebuilding components and applying metal coating, maintaining inhouse equipment, and relevant reporting.
 
What you need to succeed:

• Fitter & turner with manual lathe machining capabilities, portraying solid mechanical aptitude;

• Proven background in an industrial Fitter role, pump experience highly advantageous;

• Ability to work autonomously and confident customer facing skills (for some site based pump work);

• Be open to site and workshop based work, working on pumps. Ability to travel interstate x3 times a year; and

• Happy to work onsite where the work can be more hand on / exposed to natural elements, or incremental weather.

**Please note consistent mandatory drug and alcohol tests will be conducted, as well as a national police check.
