Job Details

We're working with a well-regarded national law firm that's looking for a Float Legal Assistant to join their Sydney CBD office.

This isn't your typical Legal Assistant role. You'll work across a variety of practice groups, supporting different teams and gaining exposure to multiple areas of law. It's a fantastic opportunity to build your skills, meet different people across the business and discover what type of work you enjoy most.

The firm is known for developing its legal support staff, with approachable leaders who value their team. If you're someone who enjoys variety, likes learning new things and wants to continue growing your career, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The role

  • Support a variety of practice groups across the firm;

  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence;

  • Manage diaries and coordinate meetings;

  • Open and close matters and maintain client files;

  • Assist with billing and general administration; and

  • Provide reception lunch cover.

About you

  • Around 1-2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary;

  • Experience working within a law firm;

  • Looking to broaden your exposure across different areas of law;

  • Organised, adaptable and happy working in a fast-paced environment; and

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
