u&u have partnered exclusively with a leading global financial services business based in Western Sydney to recruit an FP&A Manager into their growing finance team.
There are plenty of FP&A roles where you spend most of your time pulling together reports, updating forecasts and explaining what happened last month.
This isn't one of them.
They need someone who genuinely understands what sits behind the numbers and can connect financial performance with what's actually happening across the business.
If you've worked within lending, asset finance, consumer finance or another portfolio-based financial services environment, this should feel familiar.
The Role
Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of FP&A while becoming a key finance partner across the business.
You'll be responsible for
Leading annual budgets and rolling forecasts across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow;
Providing meaningful analysis around actual vs budget performance;
Partnering closely with Sales and Operations to understand portfolio performance;
Building financial models for new initiatives, investments and growth opportunities;
Supporting strategic and mid-term planning;
Getting involved in finance projects, systems and process improvements; and
Leading and developing direct report(s) within FP&A.
What They're Looking For
6–10 years' experience across FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering;
Strong financial services experience, ideally within lending or portfolio-based environments;
Commercial mindset with the confidence to partner with and challenge senior stakeholders;
Strong financial modelling, forecasting and Excel capability; and
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be a massive advantage.
Why You'll Want to Know More
Hybrid working;
Onsite parking;
CFO & senior leadership exposure;
High visibility role;
Global financial services business;
Lead and develop FP&A; and
Strategic & commercial exposure.
Interested?
If you're an FP&A professional from financial services and this sounds like the right next step for you, I'd love to hear from you.
