About the Role:

Join an ASX-listed market leader at the forefront of Australian wealth innovation. As the group continues its rapid expansion through strategic acquisitions and global partnerships, they are seeking a high-caliber Fund Accounting Manager to lead the Unit Pricing and Fund Accounting functions, ensuring robust financial reporting and compliance within a highly regulated environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end daily process, including validating and approving prices while ensuring the correct treatment of fees, taxes, and corporate actions;

  • Ensuring the quality and timeliness of all fund accounting activities and coordinating internal and external review processes;

  • Managing incidents and root cause analysis, preparing reporting for governance forums, and maintaining rigorous internal controls and documentation;

  • Supporting new product launches and leading system enhancements or process automation initiatives to improve efficiency; and

  • Partnering with Actuarial, Investment, and Risk teams while coaching and providing technical guidance to team members.

What We’re Looking For:

  • CA/CPA Qualified;

  • 7–8+ years’ experience within the Financial Services industry (ideally with a Fund Manager or Custodian);

  • Proven experience in leading and coaching a team;

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data sets, system development is an advantage; and

  • Ability to translate complex operational issues into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
